The CABL Pistons picked up a gritty 9–6 win thanks to timely hitting and strong relief work in a back-and-forth contest. Jeremiah Miller set the tone on both sides of the ball, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double and tossing 6.1 innings of two-run ball with 8 strikeouts. Though the bullpen faltered momentarily, Tim Andrew came in and shut the door, earning the win with 2.2 innings of clutch relief.
Offensively, the Pistons spread the damage. Josh Kramer and Miller both knocked doubles, while Michael Poe reached base three times, drove in a run, and swiped a bag. David Volmer and Cameron Kinney each added RBI hits to spark a five-run team surge in the middle innings. Phil Anderson also made his presence felt with a hit and a stolen base.
The Pistons racked up 13 hits from 9 different players in a true team effort, improving their record while showing off their depth and resilience.
