Game Summary
An ugly game with both teams being a bit shorthanded. Barger solid on the hill with 4 innings, 6 K's, he also collects 2 RBI to help his own cause. Puts on a show for his U13 team that packed the stands at Foundation rooting him on!
Aaron Thomas paces the offense with 4 hits and 3 RBI, Barker chips in with 3 RBI as well.
Yankees build a 9-1 lead after 4 only to see the Dodgers rally late and put the tying run at 2b in the 6th inning. We get a couple insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th for the final margin. Hopefully both teams will be closer to full strength when we come back in August!
Post game beer was Miller Highlife, which was very forgettable! Didn't bother to rate it, but it had to be in the 5's. Champagne of beers my ass!
