Game Summary

Very disappointing player turnout and start to the season in general. We have to roll 6 outs in the first inning and give away 2 unearned runs right off the bat. Finally rally back to tie the game with single runs in the 5th and 7th. Had a chance to take the lead in the 7th and a chance to win it in the 9th.

Rockies plate two in the top of the 10th and we're unable to respond in the bottom half.

Solid debut for rookies Saunders and McLain. Rose with a pair of hits and pitching held Rockies to just 2 hits through the first 9 innings.

Credit the Rockies for playing better defense and coming up with big clutch 2 out run scoring hits.
