Coming up on the wrong end of a W when we play well most of the game. Early in the inning errors has plagued us. Jackson star of the game for the Suds going 3-5 rbi while dealing 4 innings of 2h ball  0er. Comes starts going 5ip 1er 3k 3bb 7h 1HBP. Johnson 2-4 rbi r. Crail 2b r.

Back and forth Fathers Day battle with the Suds.

 

We take a 4-0 lead in the 5th only to see the Suds come off the mat and tie it with 4 of their own in the 7th. Yankees plate 2 in the top of the 11th on a Greg Jones sac fly and a Daniel Boyd groundout, and Ryker Miller makes it stand up with a scoreless bottom half. 

 

Banks dominant in his first Yankees start with 7 K's in 3 innings. Rookie Matt Weinberg gives us 1.2 scoreless in the middle innings while Ryker Miller goes 6.1 out of the pen for the win.

 

 

Multi hit days for Trester and Boyd. Ehrhardt on base 5 times, 1-2 with 4 BB, and a great job behind the plate by B Shrimpton catching all 11 innings in the heat!

 

Great to have Boyd and Trester back for the first time since Opening Day.

 

Beer was Busch Light Apple, or as my daughter and her college friends like to call it "Bapple"

 

It draws rave reviews initially as we were all dying of thirst, but as Aaron pointed out it only got worse the more you drank of it! We'll go with the initial ranking of 7.8
