2022 - Chiefs - CHIEFS WIN BACK TO BACK! Defeated the Colt 45's. 23-6 record and went 5-0 in the postseason outscoring opponents 24-4. Cudney got the start on the hill and went 4 innings giving up 1 unearned. C. Shaw threw the final 5 innings striking out 4. We scored 3 runs in the 5th and didn't look back. The offense was led by ROY candidate Jake Hyatt going 2-4 with McHale, Elliott (2B), Clary (2B), N. Dowty, and R. Shaw tallying hits as well. Hats off to the Colt 45s as it was a heck of a series. McLaughlin had a gutsy performance today. Season Highlights Farmer led the pitching staff with a 1.02 ERA (6-1) through 62 innings with 76 K. At the plate, he finished the season at .381 (110 PA) with 11 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR and led the team in RBI with 28. Elliott led the offense hitting .438 with 5 2B, 2 3B, 3 HR and 22 stolen bases. Awards included Player of the Year - Zak Farmer and Pitcher of the Year - Collin Shaw.
