The team currently known as the Suds can trace its roots back to 2005. The history between the current Suds and Sting franchise (and names) are a bit complicated.
After the 2004 season, several Suds players decided to branch off and create their own team. The new team was named the Brew Crew which competed in 2005 and 2006 under that name. Once the original Suds team merged with the Patriots and decided to change its name to the Sting in 2007, the Brew Crew assumed the Suds name and has been known as such ever since. Thats why you'll see some Suds history under the Sting name.
Brian Chamberlain formed the Brew Crew in 2005 and managed the team through 2012. Brian Rust took over the team in 2013 and has been the manager ever since. The team was league runner up in both 2010 and 2012, and posted a franchise best 25 wins in 2014. The Suds won the consolation bracket in 2018 and has posted 11 consecutive winning seasons.
